Hi all,
I posted the other day that Brayford, a striker and the kit will be launched Friday.
Just been told by the same person that Cardiff have just pulled the plug on the Brayford deal, not sure why.

82blade

1.) Pulling your leg more like!

2.) 03 Jul 2014 13:49:33
Well we can at least look forward to the kit and the new striker, or is that just the kit?

3.) Does anyone think we'll actually sign a striker, there's hardly any rumours at all about anynone coming in obviously with the exception of the above rumour about Brayford the kit and a striker. So here's a rumour I think Neymar will arrive on Monday (note to self - make sure I post again on Sunday night to say that the deals fallen through!)

4.) This is a site where you voice opinions and things you hear I believe, I was told one thing one day. which I shared. then unfortunately something different the next, which I then post to correct itself.
Neymar then withdrawing would just be silly. wouldn't it. ?
So Sorry PAD47 if you don't like the information given. but tuff

5.) 03 Jul 2014 16:24:02
I keep hearing that Nigel is interested in Gary Madine on a short term loan for the start of the season and that Wednesday will sanction the move to improve his fitness in the same way they let him spend time at Carlisle. Apparently offers are on the table for him from us and chesterfield.

6.) 03 Jul 2014 17:30:50
WASHING MACHINE? Please no!!

7.) I find it hard to believe (and I hope I'm not proven wrong) that NC would look to sign someone like Madine, firstly he's a pig and I mean a real pig! secondly, why have someone with a proven track record of being a 'bad boy' in the dressing room, this is almost as bad as a previous post about Nile Ranger! As for Brayford, yes, I, like most hoped that would come off, I still do but, until it happens I'll remain the ever hopeful optimistic blade!

8.) 03 Jul 2014 22:17:35
Madine? Absolutely no bloody way! He doesn't fit the NC way and besides all that. he's a truffle hunter!

9.) Sod madine when is ched out on day release?

10.) Gary Madine isn't allowed within 1 mile of Sheffield City Centre I'm led to believe

Been advised today that John Brayford and a big name striker will be unveiled with the new kit Friday. INTERESTING

82blade

1.) This would be amazing if this actually happens on Friday :)

2.) I really hope your right

3.) A 'big name' striker might be a bit OTT but a striker all the same, but hope its true about the beard!

4.) 02 Jul 2014 15:38:49
sorry but I think you are way off the mark

I don't believe anything is imminent yet with regards to JB or a striker

5.) 03 Jul 2014 09:09:33
Big name striker? Come on lads keep it real.

Adidas deal is 100%.
Spoke to a club owner a few months ago but like other post's, cannot be announced until deal with Macron ends.

82blade

1.) We can't sign coady or brayford due to ffp. McGinn going to Watford. Were clutching at straws!

2.) We can sign who we like if the right investment is there through advertising. Adidas and MBuzz are in to boost our revenue which means we can spend a percentage of the incoming cash on players.

15 May 2014 10:37:41
Not really a rumour, but just read that Liverpool are having a major overhaul to raise 30million, Coady can go at the right price.
ACT NOW SUFC, this lad will be very good in years to come, was talking to him at the SUFC player of the year awards, and he loves it at the lane.
Would be first on my list if you ask me.

82blade

1.) I we can get him for between 500 - 600k. Yes - Bono

2.) This is great news if its true

Morning All
Im a new poster and thought I would get in the mix after a few years of reading and not posting.
This is more of a question than a rumour but I was having a pint last night and a friend of mine mentioned Darren Ambrose? Said we have been linked with him and he may be training with us, I do have someone who works within SUFC and I couldn't get in touch with him last night.
IF and its a big IF, this is true, thoughts please?

Thanks.

82blade

1.) Could be a good alternative if McDonald chooses to move on. Can't really see them both in the same team, or Ambrose coming here and being only a squad player

2.) Hes new to posting and he already says he knows someone from sufc he learns quick

3.) I hope its true about ambrose that would send me off on my hols in a good mood

4.) This is true I said this weeks ago. Would be a great signing!

J j Mullins

5.) No truth in the Ambrose rumour.

All this Harry stuff. As much I think he is a 'good' CB in league 1. he is unproven in the Championship and definitely unproven In the Prem, he is a VERY VERY good L1 CB, maybe a good Championship CB. 2. 5-3m, take it.
Not a glum poster, but I genuinely think we will get Brayford, Why not Coady with the Harry money also. And a striker to finish of the promotions puzzle
Like I say I like Harry, but 2. 5-3m is a good sum recouped, put a buy back Clause in of 7-10m, one day we may over take his future owners (Hull, Leicester, Wolves) and he will then be established in higher divisions.!

82blade

1.) Agree he isn't much cop and would sell him without a second thought plus he's a Wendy fan

21 Jun 2014 08:01:54
Nothing to do with the blades so apologies, but now England are out, who would be your starting line up for the final game, heres mine, same formation.
Foster (GK)
Flanigan (RB)
Shaw (LB)
Stones (CB)
Cahill (CB)
Wilkshere (CM)
Barkley (CM)
Sterling (RW)
Lalana (CAM)
Sturridge (LW)
Lambert (F)

Give them a go if you ask me.

82blade

1.) Almost - let's have a clean clean from the opening line-up (s) and get someone in for Cahill l - perhaps Jones (if he's fit!), and rest Sturridge and Sterling. Those 3 did well, but give others a go.

2.) Jones and Stones? Would honestly rather have Maguire and Kennedy!

3.) Disrespectful to suggest maguire and Kennedy better than England centre backs. hopefully a joke. jags had a couple of shockers too so we've nowt to crow about

Long
McMahon
Williams
McGuire
Collins
McDonald
Coady
McFadzean
Brandy
Murphy
Taylor

Looking Good. 4-2-3-1

82blade

1.) Long;
Westlake, Maguire, Collins, A. N. Other;
Brandy, McDonald, Whitehouse, McFadzean;
Murphy;
Taylor
4-4-1-1

with Howard, Coady, McGinn, McGinty, Ironside, Porter, Johns, Kennedy, Barry and our mini-squad of poor left-backs all competing for places on the bench.

Add to that Miller, deGirolamo and McMahon when fully-fit, and we've got a terriffic looking squad!
COYRAWW!

2.) Whatever the side fear there isn't enough clout in attack. mguire prone to an early mistake maybe caught for pace. early pessimistic prediction is a two nil defeat to county. early and late goals to sink the blades.

3.) Lucky lucky tonight. ten men. united will face stiffer challengers second goal a bonus but needed as poor up front. brandie looks quality but again it was only ten men county. pessimistic blades fans

4.) Come on! one game in, one win. Ironside not had a kick yet, Taylor only a few minutes, the 2 injured ones a few weeks away yet you're already calling for more strikers!

We were already on top before the sending off, and Porter (twice) and Collins missed sitters. These things happen, especially early on in a season.

Lets wait at least for a few matches before getting depressed. Some people would get depressed if they won the lottery and had to share £10 with another winner!

5.) I meant had to share £10million!

A81. I agree to a certain extent, but I feel that NC / the board have this under control.
Personally think they are going to get someone in on loan until Ched is fit. If the loan player isn't a hit they can then send him back, if he is a hit, then we extend his loan. That's just my theory, but i'm not too concerned at the minute, appreciate lack of goals in pre-season, but its not as though he has played a 'set' team.

Agree with the Butler bit coming this way, but why would we send Brandy the other was as part of the deal when Butler is a free agent?

Not a rumour, just love the fact that IJA was more disgusted in someone going to the ground to renew their season ticket rather than do it online.
In other news, Asda is also cheaper than Morrisons online.

Spoke to Lee this morning, MK Dons now the only team to show major interest asking him to go to their training ground. Milwall have sent 5 diferent scouts, crawley looking to come back in for him.
Sheff U have had him watched but made no contact.
Shame, nice kid and a good player.

I totally agree. And TBF a big Well done to McCabe, he has taken some stick through the yers, and rightly so, now he has made a very good business decision for on and off the field.

Im very much on the fence about this. As much as I saw Schmeichel as one of the greatest keepers I have ever seen, and also a great great leader. I am not too sure in the sense of sacking a new manager, finding his feet, who also WAS a great leader and professional, and just replacing him with the same. a new manager finding his feet. Not my choice, but still love the guy
