Come on let's be honest. Cloughs signings have been shocking. He's known for it just ask any Derby fan. He came in last season and the players were up for it as Weir had been outed. Now cloughs got his feet under the table we are now seeing the real Clough. He wasn't sacked by Derby for being a good manager and at the end of the day he's a league one manager not a Prem or championship one.

A little bit too critical aren't you tony and taking too much notice of a derby fan. his signings have not been shocking because they will come good especially when he gets his proper first pick 11. unbeaten in 3 and again put out a prem side in cup.

I notice that MCLaren didn't make many changes to the side that Clough brought in, so much for shocking signings eh mate.

Turner looks good experienced back-up, Alcock easily our best player so far this season, Mcgahey is young so is going to make the odd mistake like Maguire did but looks promising, McEveley looks experienced and solid, Basham looks a good leader who admittedly had a poor start but now looks solid, Wallace is injured so can't comment, Campbell-Ryce looks pacey and skill full with a good ball into the box, McNulty looks a nuisance who looks promising and Higdon isn't fit yet so can't comment. Which of these are the 'shocking' signings you're talking about? Cloughs built a lot stronger squad than we had last year which will prove vital in 6 months time.
