Bit lacking on rumours this month. How about NC may leave club if not promoted this season, or he may just have one more season in first division. All depends who he gets in January transfer window. I don't want him to go but some of his tactics are bewildering to say the least. He knows how to do the job and he was a striker so why does he not play two strikers up front. This has worked well for the blades over the years but not to play this way gives the opposition a chance to beat us. , Walsall nearly did. Look at MK Dons, knocking em in for fun and that's why they will be promoted. Any comments.

Well what a start, but it does happen. Great pre season, all ready for league then wallop the opposition was more ready than we were. Well done Gillingham. I would like to ask, if defence was bad why didn't strikers have any luck. Remember Norwich a few years ago in 1st Div lost their first game at home 6-1 but went on to auto promotion that season. So with that in mind and hoping that Nigel Adkins gets his Big CH earlier than expected, we can survive this hammering, and it was just that, we will have a very good and successful season. Fingers crossed. UTB.

Not a rumour but in my opinion we have a good squad of players which under the right manager, and couple of decent players extra, will get automatic promotion next season.

Whats wrong with NC, he plays a blinder against Soton but changes side to play Walsall and just manage a draw. No offence to Walsall but the blades should be beating teams like this if we want promotion. Well, there will be no promotion this season for us. Bristol City, MK Dons and Preston have got it in the bag this season. I like Nigel but you are seeing the reason why Derby dismissed him after years in charge, they weren't going any further under his tactics. I hope he changes his ideas in the new year and play the best players and use the best formation or we are in the 1st division for another year.

ched back at lane next week, don't think so. Board are going to bottle it because of all the fuss. I would love it to happen but 100. 000 so called rights brigade are going to win the the day. Funny how ched was targetted so vehemently though considering that not one demonstrated or signed petitions for the 1400 kids who were abused and raped in rotherham.

Good call and i have asked myself how many have jumped on to the hate band wagon without knowing all the details about the case. But i leave you with this it seems strange that two men are said to have done the same thing to the young lady yet one gets let off and the other goes to prison, Work that one out if you can just a bit strange i think.

In sunday papers it did not mention blades but sheff wed was mentioned in regards to gary hooper and another championship side. If he leaves scotland he will go to a championship side not Div 1.

I agree, we don't want to lose our best players, we want to add to this team. A striker and a centre back. The midfield is ok but with a couple of tweeks. Adkins will get them moving forward quicker, that was the main problem last season, too slow just to keep the ball. UTB.

Sharp could score 20+ in first division but his wage demands will be too much for blades.

I think Nigel will play Sharp and Done up front at the beginning with Sammon just behind em. Adams on bench. Murphy and Woolford on wings. The first few games of a new season brings up some silly results until sides get used to playing alongside each other. Fingers crossed and hopefully we are off to a flyer like Bristol City last season. We now have a couple of powerful strikers, we just need a big central defender similar to Maguire. Roll on 8th August. Up The Super Blades.

Billy Sharp was a very good striker for every club he played for except the blades. The style of football at the lane was not suitable for Billy. If he came back now he could play alongside Che Adams and the pair will get 50 goals between them, my opinion only.

Keep him, he is a decent player and good penalty taker.

Not every manager out of work at the moment is a bad manager because they were sacked. The right team at the right time comes to mind. Blades could be the right team for him.
