Michael Tonge & Michael brown in talks. Also erasing have offered us nick Blackman as they can't afford to pay there last instalment. Also coady and Brayford still an option.

Wud give tonge a yr brwn is a no no passed his best, tonge has more quality on the ball which would be too good surely for league 1

2.) 05 Jun 2014
Tonge & Brown?

No ta!

3.) 06 Jun 2014
What a load of rubbish we are in talks with James Wallace and there's a good chance he will be our next signing he's another midfielder so why tonge and brown stop making things up

{Ed029's Note - The rumour about Reading not being able to pay Blackman's last instalment is nonsense.

So our multi-millionnaire new Co-Owner has come in and we have been promised "game changing" investment (the clubs words, not mine) and so far we have signed 3 free transfers and spent a huge £150,000 on an unknown young striker from a pub team in Scotland. Game changingi think not.

Spreading loads and loads of money doesn't mean we will go up clough has got money and he is spreading it wisely and on the players that he thinks can get us out of the division not just signing one 2 million poud player who get fans excited

6.) 06 Jun 2014
Couldn't disagree more. Without the investment I doubt we would have been able to afford Clough, wouldn't have been able to afford the loan players that turned our season around and we would have had to sell Harry this summer. Would you rather the club just wasted money on random signings paying over the odds just to prove we have money or wait and get the right prices?

7.) 06 Jun 2014
Can ANYONE shed some light on brandy, Taylor and cuvelier. There are three players there that would walk into any other league one side?

8.) 06 Jun 2014
Mate it's June and we have signed three decent signing for this level and on frees! And a young forward with potential. Still more to come so stop moaning! UTB

9.) 06 Jun 2014
Money doesn't make a signing good, on that principle your saying you'd rather sign Craig Davies for 3million than Drogba on a free, I know it wouldn't happen its just an example before you start crying, why not sign quality players on a free? its just good business

10.) 06 Jun 2014
Whinge whinge whinge. I'm with the other posts above, why waste a couple of million on a player who ends up being a waste. In Nigel we trust, whatever he thinks is best then we should trust him. He's not done badly so far has he? Only Brian the so called Blade has complained about him! As for Cuvellier, injured until Christmas. Brandy, don't need when you have Flynn, Murphy and probably Davies. Taylor, no thanks, let him stay in Scotland

11.) 06 Jun 2014
I haven't seen the "game changing" comment by the club so can't disagree with you on that, but i'm not sure who you expect to sign in league one, even if we ignored the FFP rules.
If McNulty has anywhere near the impact as Scougall who was one for the future he'll be a great acquisition!

12.) 06 Jun 2014
Brannigan has stated that we are open to offers for Taylor & Brandy
I reckon Taylor could do a job but Brandy is a reckless unreliable inconsistent liability

13.) 06 Jun 2014
Three letters. F F P!!!

14.) 06 Jun 2014
The transfer window isn't officially open yet we've signed 4 players with a lot more to come when it does open, why are people even complaining about it for? UTB

15.) 07 Jun 2014
FFP means we simply cannot make multi-million pound signings as we please. It's the beginning of June, we've signed four good players and we've got another two months to get more. Deals where money is exchanged always take longer anyway so we probably won't be seeing news of any until July or August. But don't expect massive money being spent because FFP won't allow it, not until we get into the championship can we make tipsy kind of signings and fully utilise the Princes money.

To the above poster. Their isn't going to be loads more
signings as Clough is convinced he only wants a squad of 18/19. So they'll be a few but not loads. But I do agree with that he has made 4 good signings regardless of how much he's spent

17.) 07 Jun 2014
Sorry, but FFP is based on salaries, not player acquisition costs, so please get your facts straight before claiming big fees can't be paid. FFP is a generic term anyway, and the actual rules that the Football League has to abide by are contained in the SCMP, ie the Salary Cost Management Protocol. Paying a club a fee for a player is not counted towards the 65% of turnover that salaries have to remain within.
