Danny Grainger is now training with Carlisle

Believable17 Unbelievable32

Not surprised, how could he ever take the place of young Higginbotham, consistent hill (bad) and the Marauding Williams, the guy had no chance LOL

Agree11 Disagree8

Dont know why people always have a pop at Hill fair enough he's no Roberto Carlos but is a solid enough defender

Agree11 Disagree9

Admitedly, he's not as bad as Williams or the old head Higginbotham, but I don't think he's not good enough, either as a full back or centre back. Reserve to cover both positions from the bench, that is all.

Agree6 Disagree7

Personally I think hill's the worst of the three, he's godawful - williams is no great shakes and higginbotham is past it - nowhere near as bad as hill though, really dislike him as a player

Agree7 Disagree6

Moët wrong with hill get off his back

Agree3 Disagree3

Must admit I know very little about the crop of youngsters about to fight for a first team shirt. Any of them left backs, or at least able to play there, so we can get rid of one or 2 of those mentioned above?

Agree2 Disagree2

Er. McGinty and Johns for a start?

George long is in talks with 2 clubs Norwich and Newcastle

Believable7 Unbelievable23

Next joke

Agree14 Disagree6

If they have any sense the youngsters in our side will use Jordan Slew as a cautionary tale he moved and did his career untold harm. why would you want to move anywhere that isn't going to give you first team football.

Agree16 Disagree3

For money obviously!

Agree6 Disagree8

My mate in Blackburn says they are trying to off load Slew and that they are considering offers from a couple of league 1 clubs. Maybe a return to the blades? It might get his career back on track. Tbh I think playing every week might be just what he needs.

Agree8 Disagree11

In reply to the comment above, I wouldn't want Slew back serves him right for being a money grabber and thinking he was than the club, good riddens and thank you Blackburn for being run by persons (Venkys)

Blackpool have offered kevin mcdonald of sheffield united a contract but looks like he's stayin where he is at the moment, a few others also interested

Believable4 Unbelievable19

How can he be offered a contract? He has a year left on his contract and the club can extend it by a year

Agree11 Disagree4

How can they offer him a contract when he isn't even their player surely they come to agreement with United first then contract negotiations take place?

Agree10 Disagree2

I live in Leeds and a few Leeds fans I know seem to think mcdermott wants him too. They reckon 400k and Michael brown into the deal

Agree4 Disagree13

Leeds offer is meant to be either 400k plus Michael brown or 300k plus Michael tonge. Mcdermott not keen on either of those players, they're too old fashioned for himm

Agree3 Disagree10

What a stupid post to old fashioned how can a football player be to old fashioned

Agree5 Disagree2

I would have a fan play in Mcdonald's place and porter's would give more then them two put together. McDonald to big for his own boot's needs to come down to earth he is not that good at all. and porter what can I say bad, poor,
non league

Agree8 Disagree10

He means prehistoric like a certain managerial candidate called us.

Agree27 Disagree0

Yeah but that candidate said our facilities weren't up to scratch and our training methods were prehistoric as well. forgive me for pointing out the obvious we have just been awarded level two status and turned out some noteworthy players over recent years. How many players of note has that manager had anything to do with? Answer NONE

Agree9 Disagree16

Lets be honest, who the hell is graham arnold, so he managed Australia, but what has he actually done that is worth knowing, guarentee most people hadnt heard of him before he called us prehistoric, he is just a football nobody with a big ego, he probably got turned down for job and felt asthough he may lose his job at mariners if they thought he wanted it and was rejected, so got the first dig in with the media

Agree5 Disagree14

McDonald is class but I would take brown back anyday! what a player what a guy. Need him back asap. he is are answer to championship football.

Agree2 Disagree8

Arnold wanted half a million a year and got annoyed when it wasn't given to him

Nick blackman on a season long loan with a view to buy. deal done

Believable5 Unbelievable18

Not that fussed about him tbh

Agree8 Disagree4

Get him in quick then porter can go!

Agree5 Disagree8

Can't get rid of Porter - he's scored all the goals so far in our pre-season matches to date!

Agree4 Disagree2

If you think porter should stay then god help us

Agree5 Disagree5

If you want to get rid of someone, I'd start the list with Cresswell and Williams

Agree6 Disagree0

Porter can be a good League One striker with the right service. Getting rid of him just when we're starting to play his type of football would make no sense.

I've heard we're interested in John cofie being he's a free agent now.

Believable1 Unbelievable19

Wouldn't have him, far too lazy

Agree15 Disagree1

I wasn't interested in him when he played for us - can't see us wanting him back. Come off it!

Agree8 Disagree0

He was quick I suppose, but he's got a way to go before I'll believe he's good enough

Agree4 Disagree1

He wasnt very goot last time, but him, brandy and murphy may be good in a 433

Agree3 Disagree6

We're not going to be playing that way - see Cresswell's comments in the Star - we'll be playing with an extra midfielder - meaning only 1 up front.
