Don't be suckered into this "no money" stuff...there are funds, it's whether they'll release them into playing staff or the ground. The impending redundancies within the United support staff (ticket office, shop, admin etc) should pay for most of this!!! Disgusting!!!
Why is this disgusting? At the end of the day its a football club so football comes first. Feel sorry for the people who are to lose there jobs but any united fan would understand promotion is a necessity or there will be more than support staff losing jobs!
If we were making a healthy profit I'd agree about the redundancies being unfair but as attendance reduces so does the need for the human resources - that is business, not applicable to the playing staff as without them being of a competitive level we are nothing
As if we'd get Nathan Delfouneso on loan at us when he's a bench at Villa, so could get more games this year, and he's england u21
