Two more players are currently on trial at United who played against Huddersfield Town U21s at Shirecliffe today. First is a Sheffield born lad called Ted Cribley who has played for a college team in the US called "Syracuse Orange men's soccer" and another player is free agent and Greek international Angelos Charisteas who was in the wining team at Euro 2004 in Portugal. Charisteas would be a great coup if he signs for us!

There 4 trialist playing

Agree7 Disagree8

I know there are 4 trialists playing, this is why I said "Two more" as Conor Clifford and Craig Lynch have been on trial for over a week now.

Agree11 Disagree5

David Lynch would be more appropriate for the current circumstances.

Agree0 Disagree5

Has anyone seen these trialists play? Are they worth a shirt term contract?

Agree1 Disagree4

Ian dowie nailed on before Saturday! Good source

Agree3 Disagree8

Seriously, I think we need someone with a bit more pace!

Agree4 Disagree2

Angelos Charisteas (32) euro 2004 final scorer is on trail and playing against Huddersfield u21 tonight

Believable11 Unbelievable3

This would be a quality signing Kitson and Porter haven't done it we need a striker to replace Blackman and I think he'd be a quality signing

Agree4 Disagree6

Least Kitson is scoring

Agree9 Disagree1

The Kitman could score more.

Agree2 Disagree3

If Wilson spent more time coaching the players he has got rather than chasing yet more players, we wouldn't be in the mess we are. Now he's looking at yet another old forward, the 32 year old Greek bloke, to join stiffs Kitson and Cresswell in a Dad's Army front line. No wonder he's let Blackman and Philliskirk go - they were too young!

Agree5 Disagree4

And philliskirk to sign a contract at Coventry tomorrow as I said would happen 2 weeks ago what would be the odds of them and us playing in the play offs and him coming back to haunt Wilson football is very funny like that

Agree2 Disagree3

That old Greek bloke 32, same ages as Stevie G and a Greek legend!

Agree4 Disagree1

Philliskirk could score in a brofel

Agree0 Disagree1

We have 4 players over 30, not exactly a dads army is it. Bet your the same bloke saying we have too many youngster

Agree4 Disagree0

No - just one saying the youngsters we have at the Lane who won the reserve league should be given a chance in the first team before we buy in other teams rejects. I want to see good young Blades playing for the Blades.

Ive heard from a few people that wison is back in talks with lee williamson and louis dodds of port vale

Believable0 Unbelievable7

Danny Wilson said himself that the Williamson deal was never going to happen.

Agree8 Disagree0

Wouldn't want him back. We needed Williamson to step up after Ched got sent down and he jump ship. Nah no one is paying his wage.
