Sheffield United have asked cardiff how much they want for John Brayford, could still be hope

Not a chance of getting him. Couldn't afford his wages for starters and secondly would he really want a permanent deal with a third division club after putting himself in the window for a championship club during his loan spell last season.

As soon as I heard Nigel wanted me to come to Sheffield United it was out of the question that I’d knock him back, ” Brayford said. “He’s been a massive influence and was the person who gave me an opportunity in the game during his time in charge of Burton. I was never going to turn him down because it was important to say ‘thanks’. ”

“I had opportunities to go to teams a division above and, I’m not going to lie, if it had been anyone else asking me to go into League One then I’d have had to give it a lot of thought, ” Brayford added. “But it wasn’t. It was Nigel who asked me. Not only is this a chance to play for him again, it’s also at what I’d call a proper, traditional club. ”


I'm not saying he won't go to the championship, but he has a tremendous amount of respect for Clough. If we can find the money then who knows?

Clough is his favourite manager, he said himself that he absolutely loves it here and I think that if the opportunity to join us permanently came up he'd jump at the chance.

Well there's only an hour left of the working day😰

You've probably seen but according to official website Club Store is closed until Saturday. Stab in the dark is that you won't be able to purchase it until then at the earliest. Be good to get a look at it some time this week though.

Club shop has been ope today I popped in to ask when the new kit will be coming out when I renewed my kidz season tickets, the women with blonde hair said there will be a nws release within 24 hours

Would expect it to be tomorrow 4 that is when the adidas contract starts

The store will be back upon on Saturday. It's closed so it can be refurbished with adidas logos and apparel, restocked and just given a general makeover. The kit will be available when it reopens so obviously an announcement will be made before then.
