Rubbish - stop re-posting stuff from the forums. a pig starts a wum tweet, and then a journalist says he has disappointing news for a south yorkshire team, 2 + 2 = 5461 and off goes the rumour mill. journalist and a colleague both confirm NO truth in the rumour. Calm down. Budget was agreed and FIXED late last week, not after an argument today!

Keane could come but Powell is due to be sent out on loan to a Championship club. I would however love to see him come to Bramall Lane. Next Gerrard/ Lampard apparently.

Very much doubt it's down to PR reasons - more the fact we pay obscene wages to average players who can't get a better deal elsewhere. I've heard Ipswich have had an offer accepted for Quinny but the ginger ninja doesn't want to go! Little united can do!

I'd like to say you would get 3 players, but apparently the Transfer budget agreed is small, and the wage budget has come down, therefore players must be off loaded to allow Utd to buy players. -From a sensible Owl
