Enquiries made for 4 forwards Sammon (derby) Stead (hudds) which people know about but also Waghorn (Leicester) and Jutkiewicz (boro)

I heard this morning that Stead and Sammon are done deals.

No not done deals clough having second thoughts about stead he thinks Waghorn would be a better option

Lolol. sheff utd couldn't afford sammons left boot.

That reminds me when we had a Geoff Salmons playing for us, years ago. Now that one really did have a left boot!

Can't afford Sammon's left boot? You enjoying the rock you're living under! Our transfer kitty is huge, our problem is enticing the right players to League 1!

Players leaving in January, Lyle Taylor (already gone on loan) Marlon King (contract terminated) Daryl Westlake (loan extention) Marcus Williams (Scunthorpe permanent) Febian Brandy (loan) also expect many more to leave in the summer as Clough plans major overhaul of squad. All players coming in, in January will be loan with view of permanent move. Jon stead, Conor Sammon and Paddy Madden are three early targets, expect white and coady loans to be extended but lappin going back to Cardiff. Red1*

Not seen to much of him but not overly impressed. Gutted last night - thought we started well then old story of going one up and then allowing opposition to get back in to game!

sheffield united extended loan on conor coady
			Believable14
			Unbelievable4
Good news if true. I would like to see us go one further and try to sign him in the summer, the lad has great potential and clearly likes it here.
			Agree8
			Disagree4
I would like to see culveiler play more instead of him. I know they play in different positions but I think he has more qualities than coady
			Agree5
			Disagree6
I would like to see cuvelier play instead of Doyle, Doyle just constantly loses the ball in the centre of the pitch
			Agree4
			Disagree6
Doyle is vital, he breaks up play better than monty as doyle can pass and score
			Agree2
			Disagree3
Doyle is crap, hope he leaves in summer as his contract is up
			Agree4
			Disagree4
He's a grafter and puts a shift in. He's like Monty. You take him out of the team and watch us struggle.
			Agree0
			Disagree1
Take him out of the team and watch us keep the ball in better positions giving us more chance to score more, it's not just the strikers that have to score it's got to have good service from midfield

Heard Jamie Ward is coming back on loan, thoughts?
			Believable4
			Unbelievable22
Well that's a load of crap! why would Derby let one of their best players go out on loan?
			Agree15
			Disagree5
Don't rule it out entirely just yet! Ward and McLaren had a big fall out after yesterdays match as Ward got subbed and he threw a massive paddy. Allegedly, McLaren now wants Ward out of the club I'm sure Clough will take him if a deal can be sorted!

Would be shocked but chuffed to see JW back at BDTBL but still need a 'first div' target man - like porters work rate but need more than just sweat and one goal every 15 games or so.

Sam winall to sign for sheffield united!
			Believable6
			Unbelievable5
Looks like a good player but he's scoring goals in League 2 its not league 1, depending on how much we paid for him, could be worth a shout
			Agree4

Jamie Ward came from League Two and was brilliant for us. Might as well give him a shot.
			Agree2
			Disagree0
Like all our "strikers", we've got to get the ball to them before they can have a shot! We're not doing that at the moment.

Hallam Hope could be a possible loan signing. Clough been interested

			Unbelievable13
He has already gone out on loan

Paddy madden was spotted in copthorne hotel before Tranmere game was clear he intends to sign for us. Plus clough may be given upto £30m as of now reaching £60M if/when we reach premiership
			Agree12
			Disagree11
You know the the investment is to get us to the premier league not to spend when we are in it.

Hallam hope on loan at northampton

I thought Gary Johnson had hinted at attitude problems with Madden, GJ seems a straight up guy so I think signing him is a gamble, then again all signings are to some extent.
As for the 30 mil, how would FFP work?

Rename Bramall Lane

Who say's £30 - £60 million this is the Sheffield United site not the I had a dream site more like £3 - £6 Million if we are that lucky I think wake up please.
			Agree11
			Disagree1
With FFP in place it'll be nowhere near the 30-60m figure. However, I disagree with the guy who said the funds are only there to get us into the premiership, not for when we're there. The Prince has already said he's only going to make a profit when we're in the Prem. Do you think he's just going to get us there and then walk away? No, he wants to get us there and then spend even more to make us competitive. Remember, the higher up the Premiership we finish the more money he makes.
