Andy Taylor & Johanne Ertl set to be released, Nick Montgomery to be sold, possibly Leeds. Matt Hill will not be signed as Lecsinel Jean-Francois and Marcus Williams are good enough. Kevin McDonald & Lee Williamson are set to be offered new contracts in the hope they'll stay, Harry Maguire & Matthew Lowton will only be sold only if a stupid price is put on the table. Stephen Quinn's dedication for the blades may see him stay for atleast another season. Utd also linked with strikers such as Francois Zoko & Stuart Beavon as we need pace and goals. The only goalkeeper linked so far is Chesterfields Tommy Lee if no signings possibility of Mark Howard being in goal or risk George Long. As we didn't get promoted the Hearts centre back we were interested in will probably not be signing.

Believable10 Unbelievable11

Stuart Beavon has stated he will not sign for a league 1 club, got his sights set on championship

Agree6 Disagree7

Actually sounds sensible there's a a rarity on here.

We lost 15million this & last year, lowton, maguire, Quinn, McDonald will be sold no doubt about that! Were bringing all young lads in with very low wages! It's all about money, I wish we could keep all the lads but it's not going to happen, m wants as much money back as he can!

Agree11 Disagree7

You have no money . . . lowton and maguire will be sold . . . quinn williamson and mcdonald will not stay at your little comedy club . . . UTO!

Agree11 Disagree10

My friend is cousins with Matt Lowton and as a Utd fan he has stated his desire to stay at Utd as only average championship teams like Derby want him & Harry Maguire believes his best chance of development is to stay with Utd instead of going to a prem side and being lonaed out numerously or playing in the reserves also James Beattie is set to be released. If Stephen Quinn was sold it would'nt affect Utd in a bad way as Ryan Flynn is a quality back up for the left wing and does have goals in him the money we get from Quinn could help tie down Williamson & McDonald to new contracts.

Why are the Wendy fans SOOOO massively obsessed by us? Forever spending their time typing this web page in, dropping in and typing drivel! I do understand there is a "Wendy Rumours page" where Wendys and the sadder Blades fans go and whinge.

Agree4 Disagree7

Tbf im a wednesday fan and it does my head in too. a little joke here and theres alr8 but tbh both teams do exactly the same when the opposition is down on their luck. obviously united will have to lose a few players to make and save money but there are a few ridiculous rumours about players who arent even that good. i could imagine ryan flynn would be in demend tho

Agree5 Disagree2

Don't expect a bag full of signings this summer...youth will provide 50% of the squad and any high earners will be shipped out. Quinn is a gonner and if we're offered anything tempting for Maguire or Lowton they're gone too! The academy lads will need time to bed so hope for a very busy pre-season to get the games in. The youth side are clearly good but are they up for the strains of a League 1 promotion push? Hopefully! Personally I reckon if we don't do it next year we'll be spending more time in League 1 than we ever did in the Championship between Prem seasons! UTB FTO!

Believable26 Unbelievable4

Leeds did it with youth smith kewell harte woodgate robinson mcphail dont knock youth they show more heart and desire than a lot of the higher paid wage earners. good luck sufc anyway

Kevin MacDonald strongly linked to city rivals Sheffield Wednesday. MacDonald is out of contract and favours this move. This is part of a wage slashing excersise and will make way for Rotherham playmaker Mark Bradley.

Believable8 Unbelievable17

Can't see UTD selling anyone to Wednesday to be fair

Agree28 Disagree8

We're not selling he's out of contract

Agree10 Disagree2

He will sign as he wants to move to a MASSIVE club which wednesday are

Agree11 Disagree11

blades need a left back and a think nick shorey wouldnt be a bad signing {Ed013's Note - Leicester are in talks with him}

Believable3 Unbelievable7

How the hell will you afford his wages you have no money when will the penny drop?

Agree6 Disagree2

You must be kidding! We've got Lescinel, Williams ,and Taylor now as left backs, as well as Hill on loan that the manager prefers to the other 2 that aren't injured. We've also got youngsters coming through, so I can't see us going for another left back unless we plan to ship out at least 3 of them!
