Dont need the Beard, New Lad Allcock has not put a foot wrong and is better defensively in my opinion. Proven Striker is still what we need going on last nights performance. Not one of our strikers made any what I would call decent runs off the ball to give midfielders an option. McNulty had a few good touches but was playing behind Porter. Baxter wasted up top and would be far more dangerous playing behind a striker as he can pick out those killer passes. New lad Bsham looked very good though!! UTB
Alcock has been very decent from what I have seen, both defensively and going forward. True, Baxter is wasted up top but it looks like clough has no intention of playing him 'in the hole'
You said Basham had a good game but I saw the oposite. Same on Friday aswel. Please tell me what good things he did because from what iv seen, he hasn't had any affects on the games?!

Thought out of the midfielders he did a lot of what Monty used to do, breaking up play, getting back and helping out defenders. Think he is what we need with the amount of attacking midfielders we have. I see your point though IceyBabey he hasn't actually affected the games (didnt see Friday game so can't comment) but seems like a possible holding player and I will probably get slated for this but maybe instead of Doyle.
I didn't see much from him on friday and he seemed lacking in confidence slightly. To be honest I didn't know who he was until I got home (got to the game late). So on tues I decided to keep an eye on him. You say he was breaking up play etc but I didn't see that. He didn't seemed involved at all. But I will take your observations on board for thursday and get back to you.
