Blackman gone tomorrow to Reading £1.25 million.

Cresswell is the best striker we own. How can people be so dismissive of him and so understanding of Porter when Porter has not only been worse, but less hard working and this season has also scored less goals.
If we play Cresswell consistently he can get 10-15 goals a season at this level which is pretty good for a target man
			Agree6
			Disagree21
Get real he would get 4 or 5 and that's being generous open your eyes he's past it
			Agree15
			Disagree5
I would be happy to see robson, duffy, and kevin phillips, not fussed about bradley wright phillips he misses too many
			Agree3
			Disagree7
10-15 goals? he couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo. If you are suggesting we play cresswell more then it shows the state United are in. Wake up we need a replacement for Blackman with pace!
			Agree11
			Disagree0
I'd love Nahki Wells, surely we could sell Blackman(rather not) pocket some change and buy Nahki? Was looking at him in the summer and saw his hat trick on Youtube. CLASS.
			Agree5
			Disagree1
We never sign these players from the champ get real
			Agree2
			Disagree4
Bwp going to Preston or Swindon, says himself he would prefer pne
			Agree3
			Disagree2
Kevin phillips? he's a goal scorer if he was coming to sheffield it would be to wednesday they have more funds and are in the championship phillips wants champ football not league 1 most championship teams would take him, why us?
			Agree3
			Disagree2
Bwp I'd have him any day. He got charlton out of this league.
Mark Duffy in tomorrow with Barry Robson, BWP and one or both of the trialists.
			Agree2
			Disagree1
Wright-Phillips signed for Preston so I'm pretty sure we're not signing him
			Agree1
			Disagree2
Nothing offical on the BWP to Preston he could be going to any club utb
CAL
			Agree1
			Disagree1
Heard the BWP to Preston transfer on radio Sheffield
			Agree0
			Disagree1
To be fair, Preston have a better history than us and have been pushing for a few years.
What are we doing?? Sinking into the realms of oblivion.
			Agree0
			Disagree5
Yes cause getting relegated below us when we went down, about 4 managers and mid table finishes last season is really pushing on
			Agree2
			Disagree0
Swindon have a transfer embargo
			Agree0
			Disagree1
BWP not on any website that he has gone to PNE. Too many doom mongers on here.
			Agree2
			Disagree0
Too many doom mongers. We are sheffiled united and we are losing to Yeovil at home. We have just done another fjortoft and Deane scenario and sold our best player when challenging and now teams such as Bournemouth are making strides and signings to be above us. In what ways is this positive ??
			Agree1
			Disagree1
Cresswell would get us goals probs about 9 he a top player for us and puts the effort in!!
I want us to get:
bradley wright phillips
lee williamson
clayton donaldson
			Agree4
			Disagree4
Why 9? He works hard yes but that doesn't change the fact he's not a goal scorer. I really can't believe anyone is seriously thinking cresswell is the man to fire us up the table. He hasn't done it for the last few seasons so why now? We need fresh blood and it has to come soon or we will be resigned to play offs again.

Who is JB and IJA?
NH.
			Agree0
			Disagree3
JB & IJA..
We are the mighty, and we post sensible comments.
Wilson is a pig and needs to go. McCabe is the worse culprit. Look who he has sold over the years...
Brown, jagielak, tonge, walker, mcnaughton, Quinn etc. All at basement bargain prices.
Now it looks like Maguire and Blackman are the next to go.
Money in his pocket.
WTF.
			Agree3
			Disagree7
Who cares?
			Agree2
			Disagree2
Who's mcnaughton? Anyhow all of them wanted to go on to better themselves and play at the highest level they possibly could, can't blame cane for that?!
			Agree4
			Disagree0
Daniel McBreen can stay over in Australia for me we need someone who we KNOW can score goals at this level.
			Agree4
			Disagree0
Well put this way, all the players out side the top two Leagues. The blades have made and sold some top players. But like i've been saying, Southampton sold Bale and Walcott and many more as well. they spent few years out the top flight but they rebuilt and look where they are now.
			Agree6
			Disagree0
Please don't tell me your puttin mcbreen in same sentance as Giggs and scholes
			Agree1
			Disagree0
No but how about the legend who is Gary Speed. We sign him in the mid 30's
			Agree1
			Disagree0
Im not disagreeing that we have become a selling club. However, did we not get something like 8/9 million walker and Naughton? Both had only 1 full season with the senior squad. To me that's brilliant business. As is Slew and Blackman if he is to go. People need to realise the position united are now in. The only way will survive financially is by selling some of our better players its just the way lower league clubs have to be in the current climate
			Agree3
			Disagree0
Yes I agree but we are talking about real quality players who have been there and done it pal. Macbreen who
			Agree0
			Disagree0
That maybe, but where did all the millions go?
			Agree0
			Disagree1
Ha McNaughton. "The mighty" don't even know the players' names FFS.
BWP wasn't at shirecliffe yesterday - someone starts a rumour and these clowns claim it as their fact.
			Agree1
			Disagree0
Numb knut didn't spot the spelling mistake between McNaughton and Naughton.
Private detective material.

And maybe Noel hunt
			Agree5

Reading just had a bid for Tom Ince turned down so could make a bid for Blackman very soon.
			Agree6

IJA
			Agree8
			Disagree1
Can't see Everton splashing 3.5 million on a L1 player, even though I rate him as others have said not ready for the prem yet and not Evertons style to pay that sort of money for someone who needs more game time at lower than prem level
			Agree6
			Disagree1
Greasy spooner. Constantly smelling the old English breakfast.

blades to give Barry Robson a route back into English football says the telegraph. Personally think this would be a great signing bit of experience in the midfield give doyle a rest.
			Believable14
			Unbelievable2
A really good idea if we could sign him power passion and scores goals, a friend of tony McMahons most likely
			Agree9
			Disagree1
Just hope a goalscorer can follow him in
			Agree7
			Disagree1
Not sure he's old enough....he's only 34
			Agree2
			Disagree4
^garbage, people on here talk utter rubbish, since when did a player become redundant if he's above 23, as some people seem to insinuate
			Agree4
			Disagree0
34 is bigger than 23 yes. Well done. Now let's learn to tie shoes. 34 is too old for a club that is supposed to be building for the future of the club, not for the future sales of Shackletons High Seat Chairs
