I'm doing work experience with the blades and had a chat we Tony Mcmahon and he says shaun miller won't be back for the start of season he will be a month late so weir has stated he want a striker on loan

1. Sheffield United don't do work experience and 2. Well done for stating the obvious {Ed003's Note - most clubs do 'work experience' in some form or other,just thought I'd say.}

Agree0 Disagree11

Will be like another new signing when miller comes back he was the missing link last season, he looked awesome before he got injured. Come on blades make me proud. UTB FTO

I really can't believe the manager wants another striker, as we already have so many! Granted Miller and de Girolamo won't be ready for the first month, but we've just brought in Brandy to join the other 4 who are fit and ready - Porter, Forte, Murphy, and Ironside. That means in total we now have 7 strikers at the club.

Agree0 Disagree12

Forte isn't here anymore. And how many of those are quality strikers? Brandy and Miller. Maybe De Girolamo and Ironside in the future.

Agree10 Disagree1

We don't have forte, murphy is a winger who for me is too light weight to play upfront, ironside and porter are both target men who won't bang the goals in! we defo need a striker!

Agree11 Disagree0

Brandy is a winger not a striker but can play there. Murphy also plays outwide for us hardly ever up front so think, we have Chris Porter, one of the s***test strikers I've seen put a blades shirt on, Joe Ironside young & inexperienced, Forte went back to southampton you fool & Diego & Miller won't be back for the start of the season so YES we do need a striker or 2 in on loan & we need one quick. Been away, so didn't know Forte had gone back (still on SUFC site). Murphy and others can play up front, were even bought as they could play there as well as midfield, so why not use them for that? Can we afford to get other strikers in as well as the 6 we have? I doubt it.

Agree1 Disagree7

Murphy scored his goals for motherwell as second striker.

Agree6 Disagree0

The first guy is right they do work experience as I did it back in 08/09.

Agree6 Disagree0

Murphy is a striker who can play on the wings but its Ni his preferred position. He played for Motherwell as a striker. The reason he played on th wing for us last season is that we didn't have a winger. Who are these 7 strikers we have?

According to Rupert Murdoch Sport News, David Weir is not expecting to make any more signings following the arrival of four players.

How many people r going to go on about this! Weir said nothing is "imminent" but is working hard behind the scenes to find players who will make us stronger. More Players will join Utd this summer 100% guaranteed!

Agree14 Disagree6

Danny Grainger and loan players maybe.

Kitson signs for oxford, how come oxford can afford his wages and we couldn't, got to be better than porter
