{Ed029's Note - I haven't heard anything here about Blackman going on loan but it wouldn't surprise me. I don't know what McDermott was doing throwing £1m away based on one cup performance against us. Perhaps he'll perform better in the Championship.

I've heard today that Brandy has had words with Grigg in an effort to convince him to join him here at Bramall Lane. Brentford are the only concrete offer he has at the minute.

If any of you actually we can sign Grigg then you need your head testing. We won't sign him, he will go to someone like Brentford maybe higher.

You do realise that Grigg is out of contract don't ya? A small compensation fee to Walsall has to be paid but would be minimal, plus his wages are easily within budget.

Will Grigg is going to stay down south, he is Brentford bound. I would however like to see him at the lane, he is a great League One player. But it ain't going to happen.
