Blades looking to sign milwall striker Simeon Jackson on a 1.7m Bid.
Nigel clough had this to say " we've been in contact with a number of strikers but to be honest the chances of us signing Simeon Jackson are quite slim as we all know we have more important things to focus on" coach chris Morgan went on to say "we do have are eyes on him, yes he is an option but I think we need to focus on are fa cup run and hope after the cup and the season is over maybe we may look to sign or even loan him in the summer transfer window"
The Blades also look to sign brayford with the money they have earned from the F. A cup and also want to look at sign liverpool loanee Connor COADY on a permanent deal.
When and where was all this said?
Sounds to good to be true. but hope it is.
Think someone’s letting their imagination do the talking
We've only earned just over 2 mil with the cup run and if Simeon jocks on is 1. 7 the do you think brayford and coady are both going to be around 200-300k?
1.7 million someone is pulling your chain
He only just signed having been abroad and is apparently out of contract in the summer
On 1 February 2014, Simeon Jackson joined Millwall on a short-term deal until the end of the season, so in summer, who would we paying £1.7 million to for a free agent?
Another thing, no-one would ever pay £1. 7 Million for a naff off-form player like Simeon Jackson. You could sign three better strikers for the same amount of money.
Simeon Jackson is a free agent at the end of this season. He is not on loan at Millwall he simply has a short-term contract until May. There would be no transfer fee if we want him, but maybe some signing on fees. However, he's 27 so should be at his peak by now and he certainly isn't pulling any trees up at Millwall, although to be fair who is?
