Free Agent Gunnar Nielson could link up with the blades in Malta after passing a medical at Bramall Lane

What? Another player? Thought we was broke!
Agree5
Disagree4
He's a free agent who has played nine games in eight years! Also aren't we coming home from Malta today/tomorrow. Seems an odd one.

Don't get too excited !! He's a Faroe islands goalie. Tho was on man city's books for three years.

Goal keeper released by man city end of 2011/12 season, says something when he hasn't been at a club last season so can't be that good
Agree3

Evans was on man city's books three years and wheres he ended up?
Agree2
Disagree1
To the comment above, im more than sure if you were any sort of proper blade, you would know that Evans finished united's top goal scorer & also second highest scorer in the league?
Agree3
Disagree0
Its a shame he only had one good season out of 3!

I can't believe your lot still stick up for that man. disgusting!

mcdonald has signed a 2 year deal, quinn will stay and expect a few more new faces in the upcoming weeks
Believable5
Unbelievable0
I'd rather we put the youngsters in the squad as promised and dished out less P45's to the admin and support staff than hire yet more players nobody has heard of
Agree1
Disagree0
You mean more players you haven't signed on Football manager therefore haven't heard of. You either work for United and want to keep your job or you're a plank. You'd rather have some of the useless plebs in the ticket office keep their jobs at the expense of getting out of League 1. Plebs who give you tickets "near the middle pal" and you're on row B! Brilliant!
Agree0
Disagree1
No point in having an academy producing top youngsters who win the reserves league if we're going to fill the first team with unknown rejects from other clubs and not give our lads a chance.

Kevin Mcdonald signed new 2 year contract
Believable11
Unbelievable2
So he couldn't get another club so he backtracks and stays with us. We should have shown him the door weeks ago.
Agree6

Great news, best midfielder we've had in years. Need to keep McGuire/ Collins and Doyle/Macca spine and things will be ok
Agree4
Disagree4
Should we? Or should we be relieved our best player last season has decided to stay . Grow up !
Agree4
Disagree3
Totally aggree boss. When he wanted to join the so called massive he saw the bright lights of the championship and got all giddy. Then he failed his medical and the poor little sausage was left in limbo. Stick him in with the kids and forget about him.
Agree5
Disagree2
Pleased McDonald has signed on. Regardless of the wait. A centre midfield combo of monty and Doyle just wouldn't "do it" for anyone !! At least there is a presence and a "player" in there now. Shaun miller is a done deal. Anyone know anything about him ? Is he a striker ?? Vegas definitely signed ? If he is another striker I'd expect porter to be annoyed cos I think he signed on the premise of being first choice striker??

Mcdonald failed a medical at mk dons oxford & wendys so is agent said go back to lane this club is get worse mccabe & wilson r making this club a laughing stock
Agree3
Disagree6
The good thing about McDonald taking so long to sign is he saved the club a few bob by not paying him out of contract! Know it's time to cut Williamson loose, and give youth it's time to shine, just as it as done in the reserves, and in the under 18s, it's time to push for promotion, come on you blades!
Agree6
Disagree1
KMacs failed no medicals anywhere just pigs stirring. Theres no way he'd join them everyone knows he wouldnt fit in with there lump ball tactics
Agree2
Disagree2
Mcdonald not good enough for owls, you obviously dont go to games cos everytime i saw you lot play it was hoof it in the box n hope it falls for you
Agree2
Disagree2
And if i was a blade i wouldnt want k mac he clearly wanted out by not signing sooner realised nobody wants him an went back with his tail tucked between his legs! weds or united you want people who want to play an give 110%
Agree2
Disagree0
Basic trend here is Wednesday feel like grade A fools for stirring up a nothing story, which gathered momentum at a rate, they started to believe their own hype - "yes, we ARE signing Macca from the Blades" - then he failed some imaginary medicals - numbers not yet confirmed from Swillsborough, somewhere between 2-8 medicals failed... And now he's committed as he always believed he would. They give it the "oh he's gone for last resort"
Agree0
Disagree0
Why would a club go to the expense of more than one medical? And to say he wasnt that good? Makes less sense
Agree0
Disagree0
Wednesday never tried signing him an noneof us wanted him either! he was garbage in championship last time round. an no where near as good as somedo! jog on blunt! you'll dissapear when your mid table... you was very average withought ched an you aint any better this year teams worse

Sheffield United have signed striker Shaun Miller from Crewe Alexandra for a fee of £60,000
Believable5
Unbelievable6
Where you heard this? He couldn't get a game for Crewe in league 2 so hope it's not true {Ed001's Note - to be fair, he suffered injuries and while he was out, Ajay Leitch-Smith and Nick Powell hit form, and Max Clayton emerged. Doubt it will happen though.}
