Chris porter will sign for burton on loan and weir has been given till the end of October to get it right

Porter has escaped! Expect others to follow. Can we get a fee for Taylor?

I wouldn't write off Taylor just yet, he scored goals at Falkirk, who used a 4-4-2 formation. If Taylor had a strike partener (like he had Sean Higgins at Falkirk), I'm sure he'd be able to score goals for us. I blame Weir for using the 4-5-1 formation which doesn't suit any of our players and shouldn't be used in League One.

I agree. don't think taylor looks too bad jus needs bit of support up there

It's not often I agree with IJA but on this occasion he is spot on. The system we are trying to play works, look at the majority of top flight world class clubs from Barcelona down who play this formation. Unfortunately it certainly does not work in the 3rd tier of English football. 442 with the passing mentality that we have, and we will win this league. Look at Bournemouth. This time last season they were bottom! If Weir can adapt, we can win!

Heard that weir will be out unless he pulls a rabbitt out of the hat at wolves and I have never been so conflicted. In 25 years on the terraces I never could imagine not wanting us to win. Think I would rather take ANOTHER defeat if it means getting the right man in and getting on with our season
			Believable12
			Unbelievable16
Rubbish! Board have already said they're 100% behind him!
			Agree11

Wolves and Crawley will be the biggest games if the season make it break I personally think it will go our way and we will get 6 points
			Agree5
			Disagree10
Who would replace him?
our options are going to be limited. morgan or steve cotterill?
			Agree5
			Disagree5
Tony pulis or Neil warnock! We need a track suit manager not a shirt and tie gaffer!
			Agree4
			Disagree12
Weir is the right man for the job, just give him time to find his best team and how to play it, a manager shouldn't only be given a couple months he should be given at least 2 years
			Agree15
			Disagree4
Absolutely agree with the last post, it's time for all Blades to support Weir and get behind the team.

It's about time all boo boys were banned from the Lane! You're entitled to your opinion but please just back the team on the day!
			Agree15
			Disagree1
Everyones got to get behind the team and lift them the results will come were outplaying teams just not getting the results yet but that will come if we back wier and the team! If you go to the game to boo then your not a true blade!
			Agree12
			Disagree3
How would our options be limited for a new manager? We have money, we can have whoever we want within reason.

It's not another player we need, it's a new manager.

Sick of people getting on Weirs back already. Rome wasn’t built in a day.
			Agree7
			Disagree5
Any news on any new signings ed. do you know how true the titus bramble link is?
			Agree2
			Disagree2
Aye, Rome might not have been built in a day but neither was Hull!
What do you think Weir is building at United because it looks more like deprived Hull than elegant Rome!
			Agree3
			Disagree4
We don't want bramble he's rubbish! Another plus 30 looking for a meal ticket
			Agree6
			Disagree3
Rome might not have been built in a day but I bet david weir could make it come crashing down in a day. There are no more excuses, we have improved the squad since finishing fifth last season, it may take time for players to settle but these players should not be loosing every week at this level. The manner of the defeats is a didgrace and weir has been given more patience than a manager of this era can come to expect. I think it will be curtains after wolves let's just hope we don't make a silly decision on his replacement di canio keane stay well away from s2!

Alex fergerson was one game away from the sack the rest is history one win then watch us go keep the faith
			Agree6

Sir Alex wasn't in Div 1, and likely to be exiting that, going to Div 2!
			Agree3
			Disagree4
Nothing to suggest that unfortunately I have seen every min exept carlisle and we havn't really been unlucky. No chances no kick of the ball fot the front man, same every week
