Anyone know what Marcus Williams has done wrong? Heard he's been chirping at weir that's why he's been with 21s, just don't know if it's true

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Hope it is.

Agree6 Disagree1

He walked out of the club when he wasn't picked for the match against Colchester. Won't play for team again

Agree5 Disagree0

If the third comment is true then all I have to say is, good riddance!

Agree7 Disagree1

Exactly you've gota fight for your shirt not just expect to get a start

I agree we are playing good football to an extent. But not good attacking football. Goals win games which in turn gives points which in turn wins promotion. So it all starts with goals and if we can't score we can't win. We all know this. I'm not saying weir is entirely to blame but it's him who picks the team, the formation and instructs the nice none scoring football. So he must carry the majority of the weight on his shoulders. I just hope he can work some sort of magic and very soon. cause how long can you give someone who can't get a win? Although I so wanted and want him to do well, does that type of football suit this league?

Total agreement S10 blade, had it upto my eyeballs with this league, we need a manager who is going to insist on attacking football to get the goals and get us out of this s***, we are 1 place above league 2, all said and done it just ain't good enough weir,

Set to sign Simon Lappin on loan from Cardiff

Believable8 Unbelievable2

He is a steady Left-Back however I don't see anything wrong with Matt Hill to be honest. We don't want to be making the same mistake of the 2011-10 season where we had too many loan players who lacked enthusiasm for our club as our survival in the Championship wasn't any concern for them, which ultimately led to our relegation.

Agree4 Disagree8

Agree with IJA. However, if this is a loan with a view to a permenant mone in January he's welcome

Agree6 Disagree2

He has a good record with Norwich. only signed for Cardiff this summer just past.

Agree5 Disagree0

My god, I didn't think the day would come when I would agree with something IJA has said. Matt Hill is a good left back. Maybe get him on loan as cover but who would go to a club on loan as cover?

Agree4 Disagree7

What's the point of loaning someone who wants to develop and put them on the bench. There players such as Jasper John, Chris Salt and McGinty who are "cover"

Agree1 Disagree1

I thought salt had gone? Possibly to Barnsley not sure though

Agree0 Disagree1

I think a left back is the least of our worries. We should be concentrating on players who are going to add something in the final 3rd. We are playing good football but can't score and don't even get many shots on target. For me the defence isn't doing to bad (could be better) but if we was to add a little something going forward it would help the defence in a weird way. But they do say 'the best form of defence is attack'

You cannot be unlucky for 6 games running something must be wrong

Believable11 Unbelievable6

Yes you can!

Agree7 Disagree4

Nope.
I think some of our players need to go to Specsavers.
They seem to be just about able to kick the ball, but it always seems to go to the opposition.

Agree1 Disagree3

If you look at it, we have outplayed make dons, wolves, Preston and half at Rotherham but we have no points, so yes, you can be unlucky in games and have nothing to show for it

Agree2 Disagree5

Outplayed my a**e.

Agree4 Disagree4

Understand that but how can you not score one goal in 20 odd chances if things aren't working?

Agree2 Disagree1

We've kept the ball! Just haven't made that killer pass/cross and goals!

Agree5 Disagree0

We need to stop going out wide and start playing it through the middle in the final third! Our strikers aren't strong/tall enough to win headers again big hulking League 1 CB's! (Marlon King is an exception but he's not match fit!)
If we're going to play passing football we need to do it 100% of the time and not 95%. the last 5% being the cross which goes nowhere.
Then again, Brandy's miss against MK Dons cost us 3 points!

Agree1 Disagree0

If every club sacked their manager after a poor run of form then it would be Alex Ferguson and not Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsenal would've been doomed last year.
Managers need time, more than 10 games! Arsenal were awful last year but Arsene Wenger kept telling people "It'll be ok!" Managers need time, look at Arsenal now. Very much the same team barring two (although excellent) signings. It will come good Blades! Stay strong and support the lads! Those 11 guys need us as much as we need them, BACK THEM! UTB!
