And we have Kennedy who I hope features more this season. Someone could come in for Maguire, Wolves and West Brom have apparently shown interest however I hope the lad stays as he'll play an integral role in our promotion push.

Harry isn't leaving this year, I work with his girlfriend and she's said, he's committed to the blades for the for stable future :) UTB

We do need a center half. collins is poor. just a average player. I would get 2 in.

I agree we need someone to put maguire and Collins under pressure keep them on there toes!

Harry will wait till Xmas to see where we are in league, as for west brom rumour they've not got a manager so they after no one yet

Can't that Sheehan lad from Notts play CB? Heard we were linked with him

Regards Kennedy, Clough said in his interview that he falls just short of the first team squad and will remain with development squad next seasOn. So on that basis we need a CB

Regarding Kennedy comment above - if this is true, it means Clough only rates Maguire from the outstanding group who came through over the last few years. He's about to send Long packing, and had already let a few others go before the recent ones were released. So much for his comments in the past about how highly he rated them.

Ten strikers? Name me the strikers we've now got. Because the only one is mcnulty. Baxter isn't a striker neither is Murphy, porter and miller have been released and Taylor is set to leave by the sounds of it?

From what I hear, Cloughies in talks with 4 more after today unveiling Mcnulty & JCR. 1) Chris OGrady from Barnsley 2) Alan Sheehan from Notts Co. 3) Connor Coady and Number 4 is Kieron Freeman. Brayford return sadly looks unlikely. Brandy and Lyle Taylor likely to move on. Flo Cuvelier also back with the blades coyld be useful next season. UTB

I agree on Cuvelier. Only kid not to have a chance. Belgian under 21 Captain. Will come good for us I think. Still hope we get Billy Sharp back myself. His time to shine in a blades shirt. Cloughie will take us up this season i'm certain of it.

We only have 1 striker McNulty signed today Clough has said he wants 3 or 4 looking like ogrady sharpe possibly Evans to come later I think if we could somehow get brayford back and finalize coady we will be unstoppable at this level

Clough did say 3 or 4, but take that with a slight pinch of salt. You can never have enough strikers. Someone connected with the club told me he actually wants 5 strikers. Whether he hits his target is a different matter of course as everything has to fall into place

If we're wanting 3 or 4, don't forget we're trying to sort out a deal with Porter still.

We have three strikers, McNulty (new), Taylor (set to leave) and Ironside (can't score). We're still negotiating a contract with Porter but he probably won't sign a new contract as he wants to start matches and not be a sub. We need at least two more strikers if we're to challenge for promotion.

Brayford obviously loves it at bramell lane but the fact is he is better than league 1 standard. He could easily get in to a promotion challenging championship side. Would love to get him back though UTB

Brayford move looks to be off - Wolves have made an approach for him.

People can disagree all they like, facts are facts. Wolves have offered him the chance to play for them.
