On another Note, with NC loading the Midfield, can anyone see Doyle losing his place more often. ?

Striker Connor Robinson from Lincoln signing next week and young centre back mcgahey to replace maguire to Hull.

Maguire not going to Hull, as they have another target. Hull after Lescott instead, if they can beat those hungry Wolves who are trying to get their paws on him. If not, maybe Maguire. unless Wolves want both!
Agree6
Disagree2
Wolves have signed Stearman so doubt they'll be going for either as Stearman will have made sure they're not signing Maguire before he signs. Looks like Maguire will be staying after all

Also Freeman will be good as a first choice RB plus being able to cover Harris with Davies being able to drop into RB for WHEN Harris gets injured ;)

Rumour has it we are in for arturo of cordoba managed by Albert ferrer. A Spanish striker in the segunda division. Anyone else heard this was on Eurosport?

Yes StumpyBlade, and if you think back to a few things NC has said, regarding the new midfielders, about being certain starters. However, this situation could improve Doyle. I have a feeling certain regulars won't be regulars next season though. Butler is definitely a starter- who will he replace even if HM stays? I'd say Collins. I also think Baxter has to improve to stay in the side- likewise for Flynn.

Mmmm Baxter has to improve, but if NC puts two up front. THE NEW STRIKERS? Where does Baxter go. The #10 role won't be there! I can see all the new signings pushing for Starts, Sheehan a defo starter, but I can't see Doyle will improve, I think he will be carried by the better quality we have signed. ! UTB

Doubt he'll play 2 up front. Will play 1 with Baxter just behind. Baxters our most technically gifted player so Nigel will play a formation that means we get out best 11 players starting no matter what the formation

Since when have we signed Sheehan?

Sheehan gone to Bradford

Brandy off to Gillingham, undisclosed. Taylor off to Hamilton for 100,000.

If this was to be True, personally I wouldn't miss them both one bit. Brandy has issues, Taylor not good enough. Collect some Money, all helps to bring THE BEARDED ONE back to The Lane. !
Agree15

I think brandy is useless but if we gave Taylor some games I think he could bring some goals. he is a proven goalscorer when he went to Patrick thistle he scored 11 goals in 19 appearances (decent)

Whats peoples thoughts on o'grady signing for blades?

Taylor is class. if we would of give him games consistantly he'd of been class gutted he didn't and he's leaving watch him rip up next year

I agree I think taylor is a decent striker that just hasn't been given a chance to prove himself

Maguire leaving is inevitable. (Hull for £3mill?) don't need to sell but would LOVE him to sign a contract and stay. IF sold Brayford and blackpools young harrison to be signed and a proven goal scorer. O'Grady rumoured to be holding talks this week. blackpools harrison defo this week close source

Hull are signing Leacott so definitely not going to Hull. Wait and see if anyone else comes in for him but looks like he'll be staying after all!
