Nigel Clough wouldn't be the worst appointment ever tbf, worked on a tight budget at Derby and did well with little resources, yeah we may have abit of money now but the board still don't want someone who wants to buy there way out of trouble, as much as I like watching us with 4-2-3-1 I think 4-4-2 is the answer, and for god sake sign Hall, play mginn, and I think if we play 4-4-2 taylor and Ironside or Taylor and Miller could work a treat
I think Clough could be great. If you watched the Derby side he was in charge of they played nice football and the only reason they didn't get out of the Championship was because he had very little money to spend. If we get him in and give him the funds and the time he needs he could be our saviour and we could do a Bournemouth.
Schmeichel not the answer, if he had applied before Weir then YES, but not now, too risky for another 'NEW' manager.
I would be happy with Pulis, possibly Warnock, for a season. Number 1 choice for me is Stuart Pearce. not been mentioned and I think he would be spot on, great contacts, great desire, great man Manager. Think the players let him down at U21 level more than anything.
