No, I've heard from a source at the academy that he was there, as was Akpo Sodje. Sodje did a decent job for Scunthorpe last term. Sturrock's got a good record in this division so why not? Got Plymouth up aswell as Weds

Gareth Southgate is supposedly one of the seven shorlisted candidates. Obviously Chris Morgan is another confirmed one. Graham Arnold, Stuart McCall, Karl Robinson, Russell Slade and Chris Wilder are meant to be the other five, however this hasn't been confirmed as of yet. Phil Parkinson and Nigel Pearson have also been linked to the vacant position, but they haven't been shortlisted.
