Heard a rumour from a Scottish football scout who I know from work in the past. He says that Kyle Lafferty who he still stay in touch with is wanting a move to an English club and his club FC Sion are willing to let him go. Plus he will have played with our new manager before at Rangers. I hope this is true what my mate says because he would be a brilliant signing and has proven to score goals.

Sounds like their chairman is annoyed and wants him off the books. Blammed him for their 5-0 defeat but I can't see him coming to us in L1!

Not a massive fan after what he did at Rangers. Unsporting behaviour just to get someone sent off. However, he would be a good signing.

Heard this aswell but I think its going to be a fee because he's still got years on his contract at FC SION fee could be around 500k which is my only doubt?!

Kris Boyd will by David Weir's first signing as new blades boss. The pair are best friends and with Boyd been a free agent nearing the end of his career won't demand a high wage.

I can see Kris Boyd coming to the lane, but Weir's best mate is the one and only fat James Beattie. This is why Beattie signed for Rangers and why Weir almost signed for us last year after his release from Rangers before becoming a coach with Everton. But yes Boyd and Weir are mates.

No doubt we'll be getting lower league Scottish players and Scottish Premier league academy players on loan. The future looks extremely worrying. Ok we couldn't expect a big name manager nor can we expect to be linked to any decent players but it still doesn't stop me being extremely concerned about our club. In the last week alone we've been labeled as a prehistoric football club, a smash it up the field team, a very unfashionable club and even had Barnsley named as one of several Yorkshire clubs bigger than us along with Wednesday and Leeds. All these statements have come from football people or sports journalists so this makes me worry about our future.
