That 1st half was horrific! if we can play like we did 2nd half will make play offs. forte looked an handful. could be good signing

first half tonight we were absolutley awful, but wilson must have knocked 10 shades of rubbish out of them at half time warnock style because second half we were brilliant and tbh I feel robbed, Ryan Flynn puts 100% effort in regardless of how well we are playing, he could be having worst game of his life but will battle allday long- epitomises what being a blade is all about, George Long made some great saves, higginbotham typical stoke player just wanted to go long all game (need lecs back asap), collins and maguire brilliant as usual, mcmahon and robson have an amazing understanding and if tonight is anything to go by expect a lot from the right hand side just seem to know what each others thinking must be from there boro days, kitson was my man of the match personally won his battles all game and was only player showing some urgency, forte looked very bright when he came on and has clearly been on weights he was hard too knock off the ball and was powerful could be the making of a good partnership, macca ran the show as per, doyle had a shocker first half but clearly wilson told him what he thought at half time because he was class second half.

all in all if I feel very positive about whta I saw second half and if we perform the rest of the season like we did the second half I can see us dropping very few points and making a real go at climbing back towards top 2, team that finished should start on tuesday.

But we still lost? Not that positive really.

I totally agree with all your comments 2nd half was best we have played all season at home. Wasn't keen on the forte signing but did well when he came on. long made some fine saves but I've still got a confidence isue with him he doesn't like ball being played back to him and all so he's like Dracula doesn't like crosses one little bit which is going to cause us problems all in all play like we did in 2 nd half and we will finish in top 6 for sure but which position I don't know. Let's get that confidance home win on Tuesday come on blades.

Higginbotham admittedly wins a lot of challenges but then gives ball straight back to the opposition with a long ball, so he may aswell not bother
