Better him then Wally Downes but what has happened to our club McCabe and co have had years to get it right with investment etc but no all we hear is cut, cut, cut until nothing's left for god's sake find a buyer for the club while there is a club left and please leave Mr McCabe thanks for all you have done but you and your board have just lost the plot.

I agree, Gareth Southgate at least has plus points to be given the post, reading up on him Arsene Wenger thought highly of him. From the names currently linked I at least have some hope with Southgate. Can't think why Wally Downes should be considered or Dean Saunders with 2 relegations under his belt.

God no if things are that bad bring back Dave Bassett it just shows the lack of ambition by McCabe and Co cut evreything get a poor manager in on the cheap what is McCabe and Co playing at, As I said in another post the other day McCall turned it down because he was told to cut this and cut that and make do with nothing. Mr McCabe lives in a dream world if he thinks the blades are going to win this division, Time to wake up Mr McCabe and Co and get your heads out of the sand your fooling no one who thinks anything about the blades.

Arnt the Sheffield united board supposed to be selling the qualities of the club to would be manager. If so why are they running for cover as soon as interviewed. There's got to be something really wrong down there. The board should hang there heads and resign immediately. They are killing my club

Yes this board just lie, lie, and lie again I am sick to death with we will do this or get this manager in and pay compensation. They had no intention of doing it from the start it's just another pack of lies from this board, I hope they do get it right but would not hold my breath with this board as I said they just tell lies.
