hearing that mccalls turned it down, due to not much money for new transfers.
Yep it's in today's Daily Mirror the payroll bill is at £8m and McCabe and Co want it cut to £2m. How can any new manager expect to build a team with no money and would have to sell most of the team and start again with free transfers from God knows where.
Money will be available, maguire and long will fetch money, with money reinvested there are plenty of free transfers, we got to be favs for promotion.
Papers don't know what's said in meetings, has mccall been and said he has turned down it will be mccal wanting one thing mccabe wanting another and coming to a compromise.
Read most of today's papers and on the tv McCall is not going to be the next Blades boss because McCabe and Co want to cut this and cut that and give no money to the next manager when will these muppets on the board learn that some proper investment has to be put into the club. Yes I do understand that we do have to get rid of some dead wood in order to bring in players but to expect to cut the wage bill from 8m to 2m and buy nobody and expect us to win the division what is McCabe thinking about the bloke is in a dream world why not be honest with us blades fans and tell us like it is but show us all the facts insted of thinking people are stupid, The guy who posted the coment about us getting a manager on the cheap was spot on we had no intention of paying any compensation for a manager and this was going to be done on the cheap all along just tell us the real facts Mr McCabe and stop thinking that we are all stupid.
