With the Manager filling the squad with a mixture of Scotsmen, journeymen and Derby rejects (and doing well to date - no complaints!), and getting rid of all Sheffielders from the squad (the last ones, Harry and George expected out before Kick Off), who do you think will be the new Captain? I can't see Doyle keeping the job, as he's not Scottish, and has never played for Derby.

Collins is at least Scottish, so he must be in with a shout, unless NC plans to bring someone in who fills the bill - anyone think who could fit the bill?

You are very cynical about NC, scottish or derby "rejects" is neither here or there but just that NC thinks they will do the job for the blades.

I recon give it to maguire, sweetener so he'll stay.
