The Star
Speculation that Barnsley could be the subject of a club takeover is believed to have unsettled current management duo Keith Hill and David Flitcroft, writes Neil Goulding. Manager Hill and assistant boss Flitcroft both declined to comment on Wednesday on growing suggestions that they would be unhappy to work with potential new owners who may have an agenda different to theirs. Yet The Star understands that if new owners did buy the club, Hill and Flitcroft may seek pastures new.
Sheffield Wednesday star Gary Madine has been praised for giving up the chance of a hat-trick to allow an Owls youngster to take a penalty.
Sheffield United captain Michael Doyle is predicting a big future for teammate Nick Blackman following the striker's impressive goal-scoring exploits in League One this season.
Blades starlet Ioan Evans got his first taste of televised international football on Friday night and has former Blades boss Gary Speed to thank for being able to join in with the national anthem {Ed001's Note - I seem to remember Speed teaching him the words or something similar. That will probably be what it is referring to.}
Yeh makes no sense pal? anybody knows whats that about?
