There goes our chances then. I expected big Chris to come on in a game or 2 with 2/3 minutes left and grab a goal or 2 to get us through. Who else have we that could do that?

Not so much a rumour but I don't see why we shouldn't have a look at Sylvan Ebanks-Blake. Being released from Ipswich (admittedly where he hasn't uprooted any trees) has a pretty good championship record. Maybe a drop to league one and NC's motivational skills might boost his confidence. Powerful skilful forward who can finish?
