According to our local rag (The Star), NC is making another attempt to bring Blackpool centre forward Steven Davies to the Lane. As he generally only plays one up front (usually Baxter), I take it that Davies will join Higdon, McNulty, deGirlamo (when he returns from loan in a couple of weeks) and Porter competing for place on the bench.

We need a young premier league player on loan, we did it for connor Coady and he was brilliant, maybe someone like that James Wilson from Manchester United
