Who will Mr Winter answer to let me think a mo that would be Mr McCabe would it not, Who employed Winter again Mr McCabe me thinks so who do you think is to blame 1+1= Mr McCabe it's not hard to work out is it.

Whatever people say, the salary cost management protocol (scmp) in League 1 states you're only allowed to spend 60% of income on players. So in all honesty whether it's McCabe or Winter or whoever else is running the show, if we're close to the 60% (which let's be honest, we probably are) then we can't sign anyone anyway. Went to Brentford yesterday and was sick of hearing people complaining about McDonald leaving (potentially), McCabe putting no money in etc when actually McCabe could have all the money in the world but if the rules say he can only spend 60% then they're the rules and we have to abide by them. People need to accept we're a League 1 club, and we're going to have to play our way out of League 1 not buy our way out. We may have more income than other clubs (bigger crowds etc) but with the clubs infrastructure I imagine we'll have much higher running costs as well. I admit we've been poorly run in the past to get us in this position but now we need to rebuild sustainably.

Poorly run by who do you think it's Mr McCabe is it not, Who allows these silly contracts to be drawn up Mr McCabe, Who lies time after time to the fans who follow the blades through thick and thin Mr McCabe. Yes I know about all the (SCMP) cap
but will we invest in new players with all the money we would get for the sale of McDonald the answer to that as we all know by now is no we will not the manager may get a little if he's lucky need I say more, McCabe will not sell the club because he can still make money out of it yes he has put a lot in but also taken a lot back, It would be nice to ask him what profit he has made out of the club over the years but would he give us a honest answer I think not.

Infrastructure desn't apply, the academy doesn't apply to SMTP, United had on average 6000 more fans per game than the next highest supported team, all the big earners had gone, SMTP is a smoke screen to shut us up, it's all smoke and mirrors people, wake up!

I've heard that wolves have triggered a clause in McDonald's contract that has allowed McDonald to talk to
Wolves and have a medical.

Disgusting by blades to allow him to leave, championship club can understand but to a rival in same league and for 200k baffles me Crazy!

Sick and tired of McCabe, we sent out a statement about how we will conduct ourselves and play, against notts county, and then he contradicts us and sells the player who Weir has built the team around, JOKE!

I agree disgusting lack of ambition yet again by the blades. I thought we had started a new chapter but it seems not season after season we sell our better players and gain nothing from it. Fee reported to be around 750k by the way not 200k

Start of season = end of season again thank you mr McCabe

If they offered £1m then I would snatch their hands off, for a player we got for free, I would play hard ball, they have the money and if they wanted him that bad they would pay the £1m we made it to easy accepting the first bid

Regards to the transfer apparently wolves triggered a clause in the contract of McDonald but it is understood the player must speak with united before he makes his decision. Here's hoping weir can convince him to stay. Source: sufc. co. uk

Shocking. Why to somebody in league one to rival promotion contenders rather sell maguire then macca he gets the strings moving in our team
Agree2

They've triggered a clause. Apparently he'll hold talks with us before deciding what to do. I think Weir will make him see sense and make him decide to stay. It's always tempting to move to a different club, if only for a change of scenery, but it'd make no sense and I'm sure Weir will make him realise that.

Who sorts out the players contracts at SUFC because if I worked like this I would have been sacked years ago. How many more players have got stupid things in their contracts who next Harry or Mr Long. McCabe lies time after time but has started at the begining of the season so what more surprises can we hope for this team of McCabes muppets is making us into a joke. God help us for the rest of the season when will McCabe learn that fans can only stand so much.

I posted the one about 200k and since heard 750k like most people. It's ok us moaning about McCabe but McDonald didn't have to speak to wolves, it's obvious he's not happy or wants more money and to me wants the money and we shouldn't be held to ransom. Let him go and forget about him cus he ain't bothered about the red and white shirt. UTB

I heard a lot of people moaning saying there done with the blades now and staying away. I really don't understand ppl! I like k mac, really good player bt let's not forget he's an attacking midfielder who scored 1 goal last season, 2 season before and can't remember too many assist! the reason we stayed down last season was through lack of goals. I would love him to stay bt its not end of the world! if we played mcgin or murphy behind I could see more goals and that can't be bad can it?
Agree4

Yeah I kinda agree with the person above. K Mac is a good player and can pick a pass but I could see McGinty or Murphy doing the same thing, or even Coady. It won't be devastating to see him go because we have genuinely got a team of very good players this season and at this stage we're just ironing out the bugs and still adapting to David Weir's way of playing. It's going to take some time to get used to after being so rigid, uninventive for so long.
