Not a Blades fan but I do know that a deal has been signed for your new main shirt sponsor for next season. I have seen both the new home and away Adidas shirts and I must say they are both very nice, away shirt is dark green similar to a previous German away shirt

Care to elaborate more on the designs?

Agree5 Disagree4

Hope the op is on the money

Agree4 Disagree0

Away kit is a dark green and relatively plain in design, Adidas 3 stripes in contrasting colour running from shoulder to end of sleeve. Home shirt is a white base colour with thicker red stripes, Adidas stripes in red again run from collar to sleeve end. New shirt sponsor is a deal for the 14/15 season but can't say much more about that yet

Agree5 Disagree4

The club announced that it is a 4 year deal, not just shirt sponsorship for 14/15 season?

Agree2 Disagree4

Think he means shirt sponsor not manufacturer

Agree3 Disagree2

I am talking about the sponsor for 1year Adidas deal may well be 4 years I'm not sure

Agree1 Disagree1

Right cheers

Agree1 Disagree5

Why only a year tho?!

Agree0 Disagree3

They are only prepared to commit to a year as fee that can be commanded for sponsorship changes dramatically from league 1 to championship with TV exposure etc

Agree1 Disagree0

Ah true, then we will see things like electronic perimeter boards etc. will we have heard of the sponsor?!

Agree1 Disagree0

If you are local to Sheffield I would certainly think you will have heard of the sponsor. It is a long established local business based near Meadowhall. I really can't say anymore my business partner will not be impressed, looking forward to a prosperous season for both parties though!

Agree1 Disagree1

Hmmmm forge masters!

Agree2 Disagree1

No not Forge Masters

Agree0 Disagree2

spoke to chris o'grady a few times ( I used to share a room when we was in digs together at leicester city in 2002 ) united have made an approach and have spoken to barnsley regarding him but he doesn't want to leave as he is there number 9 so to speak, plays week in week out and he doesn't want to sit on the bench anywhere.

Ogrady would be uniteds number 9 if he came here. And on another point united should be up there next season but are we favourites with the new players bristol city have signed there end to the season was as good as ours! And they have 2 proven strikers (baldock and and JET) we have porter (I do like porter btw) I am worried about expectation and the pressure it brings

Agree7 Disagree3

COG wants an indication that he will play games, he is concerned that he would not be our main striker when ched returns.
Money is not his prime motivation as he has amassed a decent amount with signing on fees, property etc.
he just wants to feel valued and be assured of a major part to play at sufc

Agree6 Disagree5

I'm not saying that O'grady will sign but after Charlton Athletic enquired about him, he said he was flattered by the interest but he wasn't interested as his three kids are settled at School in Sheffield and he has no intention of leaving the area. If he came to United, it wouldn't affect his family life.

Agree9 Disagree0

Yes Bristol City will be up there next season but I remember us smashing them 3-0 at the lane last season. I honestly believe we have no one to fear and the players have the same mentality. I want to see us be more ruthless and absolutly kill teams. UTB honestly can't wait.
