So it looks like we've signed Tony McMahon on a 2year deal he was a real fan favourite at Middlesboro - He's one of the three signings that DW wants the other two are rumoured to be strikers, Shaun Miller is a definate and Jeffery Schlupp is a possibility depending on if Leicester want to do a deal with us now we have declined their offer for Maguire.

Don't think we should be arguing over this. Ok this is a rumour site but if this persons job is genuinely at risk I think we have to show some respect. Hope things work out well for you Joanne.

I work at the lane and we all know season ticket sales are down by 30% we've sold 2,800 so far
Agree5

I'm sure last season by about this point we had sold 14000 so 2800 would represent a massive fall, not sure I believe it...
Agree1

As of the end of June season ticket sales were up 10% as stated on the SUFC website.

tony McMahon it just hinges on cash, but lets face facts the clock is ticking for the many free agents out there.better to join us than an uncertain future at 26.Would be a solid signing at our level and he is free.
Talked to one of a rare breed yesterday,a sensible pig and he said he impressed during his loan spell.

I'm a boro fan n no he won't only be joining u cause time is running out! The lad has a contract waiting to be signed but he is 100% committed to playing football u will see that after he's signed! Also if I was playing 2nd to hoyte last season n was half as committed to my career as McMahon I would look elsewhere too so good luck to the lad hell be a real fans favourite

Rumor is we have someone called mampuya training with use if impresses will sign... anyone kno anything about him?
Believable7
Unbelievable2
He was on the Malta Tour and played well, providing some excellent crosses from the right. played for anderlecht but has recently been playing out in Cyprus. DW has offered him a trial back at home against some proper opposition and might throw him into the rotherham game. VERY pacy.

Funny guy ever heard ov google... :/ that dont tell you nothing about how he played for us in malta you clown.

As a blade who has this morning returned from Malta I can honestly say I am impressed with Mumpaye. Pacey player who rarely puts a foot wrong at the back and is positional sound. Likes to get forward and put the ball in the box which also appeals to our style of play. Work rate is similar to that of Nick Montgomery in his prime however this lad has the talent to go with it!. Great signing if he get him believe me!

Expect three new faces at Bramall Lane this week, Two of them will be Shaun Miller and Jeffery Schlupp third one could be Beavon? Things are looking up! UTB! Keep the faith!

Is the Jeffery Schlupp neal going to be a loan or a permo, do you know?

3 more stikers? Doubt it. Miller and Schlupp maybe but dont think Beavon will sign
Agree2

Why would we bring three strikers all at once? have three in the squad already plus ironside during cups etc
Agree3
Disagree1
I think two of the signings will be miller and schlupp ant got a clue about other.... but think we neeed another CB and a paceyy winger, then rest depends on if we keep quinny etc.
Agree2

The three signings will be McMahon,Miller and Mumbuya. McMahon in final stages of negotiations, Mumbuya impressed on Malta tour and Miller jus waiting to be confirmed. {Ed001's Note -

3 Strikers that Wilsons shown an interest in are Drew Talbot, Leon Clark and Matt Tubbs. I reckon he'll try to sign one of the first two as neither would demand a fee. K Mac obviously wants out so all we can hope for is he gives us 100% until he can get away.
Believable1
Unbelievable4
Why does Kmac want away? signing a 2 year deal means if he does go we get a fee! Schlupp or Beavon not both, ideally beavon as he would be permanent would suit us better
Agree1

My thoughts exactly. He will obviously give 100% as he will view this coming season as putting himself in the shop window hoping to impress which will help his chances of leaving the lane.
Agree1

Tubbs won't move north that's why he went to Bournemouth where he is from, would like to see beavon

If he stays injury free up till the jan transfer window I think he'll be off. At least we will now get something for him. Shame but it's modern football. Alternatively having been in the shop window this summer with no takers he may realise that we are his team, some players are just meant for certain teams
