Also, bit of a side note: Doyle has told how he would hate to leave having not gained promotion. Probably reading too much into it but he's 33 and his contract is up at the end of the year so maybe thinking about moving on or retiring?

I wouldn't bother personally. Higdon and McNulty back this week and Adams and De Girolamo on bench, Baxter and Murphy able to do it too if needed!!!! Save money and see where we are in January then buy if we need to when Nigel gets the money he says is coming. There is no panic to change anything IMO. Come on blades.
Agree with most of what you say Chezblade, but de Girolamo is back at York again for another month, and I don't think either Baxter or Murphy have cut it playing as strikers, so should only be used in an injury crisis, which we've not got. I'm all for playing genuine strikers like Higson, McNulty, Adams. or even Porter in front of those 2.
