We are looking at signing Matt Hill who we had on loan from Blackpool towards the end of last season, he has currently been released from Blackpool so will be available on a free transfer. Wilson has had contact with both Matt and his agent over the past few days and a deal is close to being agreed to bring him back to the club.

ALSO i have heard that K Mac is staying and signing a further 1 year contract extension and Quinn will decide on his future withing the coming weeks. Lets hope to keep both Quinn and Mac along with McGuire and Lowton.

Dave Kitson has also traveled with the blades squad to Malta and will make his decision about signing after the tour has ended.

Its looking good for us if we can keep good players and bring in some decent new ones ! lets hope for a good season UP THE BLADES

You quote the source for your inaccurate "close to a deal" nonsense with Hill as sufc.co.uk - what a shame you couldn't be bothered to read about th dates for the Malta trip while you were on there!

Load of rubbish. How you know K Mac is going to Ipswich when he has stated no one has made contact with him? also where you heard Maguire goin to Cardiff? The thing is Maguire is one of the lowest paid players at the lane so unless a ridiculous offer comes in we dont need to sell and i dont think it will be cardiff that will go for him! Montgomery and Porter can both leave in m opinion but i think we will be very lucky if someone wants to sign Montgomery on the wages he is on when he was struggling to get in our team last year! at the end of the day nothing is happening yet even Danny Wilson has said that!!
