Why happy days? Don’t get me wrong I’m no Porter fan but the man has never given anything less than 100%. Good luck Chris Porter wherever you go.

Ive heard Billy Clarke on Cloughies list. was after him at the back end of last season. Contract recently expired with Crawley. Chris OGrady a target also.

His 100 percent just isn't good enough if we are to get promoted we need 2or 3 good quality strikers hopefully McNulty is the first of them

Anyone can see Porter is being slyley pushed out the door. Being offered a poor contract which he obviously won't take

Shameful that folk will slag of a professional footballer with quips like happy days when he is leaving. He has tried his best over the years giving 100% for the club. The fact that his 100% isn’t good enough is not the players fault; after all, he didn’t pick himself to play.

Can the Chris Porter fan stop getting so upset, if he signs for Oldham you will still get to see him play its only an hour from Sheffield. Porter was that good we played Baxter up front in his position, we even tried Paynter, would love to see his stats whilst he has been at the lane. If you noticed he tried really hard at the end of the season knowing his contract was up, what a player he will go down as a great.

"The Chris Porter fan" I think there's more than one. By the looks of it the comments in support of Porter have come from multiple people not just one.
