James Beattie to sign a month to month contract
He's training with the pigs so doubt it
No he's just training with the massive to keep fit, I think we have got him as our new tea boy!
I would be happy with that except that : 1) we have far too many strikers anyway 2) we are not meant to have the cash 3) the piggies think they are signing him because we are not, and I'm sure there are others i can't think of at present......
Obviously not true. Why would we sign him again? We already have too many strikers. We have Porter, Blackman, Miller, Cresswell, Coffie, Chappell, Philiskirk and Ironside. Why would we want to add Beattie too? We've seen after last season that his playing days are behind him. I wouldn't be surprised if Beattie were take up a coaching role at the club but he doesn't have his FA badges yet.
He's at hillsborough training with a view to a contract. On BBC site. We are in for Ricardo fuller apparently but he WANs championship football and wolves may be a destination.
Hope so, he's best we are going to get.
Yorkshire Post says he is training with the Blades to regain match fitness but a third spell is very unlikely.
No chance you couldn't afford fuller's boots never mind wages
Fuller signed for Charlton
Look lets get this stright WE ARE SIGNING NO ONE we are skint
People said weren't signing anyone before were brought in 6 players. If we get rid of Monty and Cressy, we'll have plenty of funds to bring in another player; not to mention West Ham owes us over £10 Million!
£10m that looks less and less likely to be spent on players, we may get rid of quinn and Monty yet that the 10m will be used for outstanding club debts, which yes there are some! Even though some of us seem to think there aren't! And even then we are being paid over a period of 12 months, so we won't have £10m straight away, so stop getting carried away!
West Ham owe you nothing. It's not West Hams fault you piggies were rubbish and lost it
West ham payed it was published in your accounts {Ed001's Note - except that they only paid some of the money, as West Ham's owner confirmed recently.}
Beattie has a problem with his feet.....he can't keep them out of Greggs
