Wednesday are looking at a few L1 players, I don't believe Porter is one of them, looks like you're stuck with him.

No new players are coming in or signing until a manager has been acquired to fill the vacant post. (Although Morgan is compiling a short list for the next manager, who ever it is, even though it may be himself. )
Agree10

Morgan doesn't compile the shortlist, that's the boards job.
Agree5

Assistant managers compile a shortlist, then the board decides who hey can afford and take names off, then add new ones they would like.

I'm sorry, but how can you disagree when I have personal experience within this side of the game?

You could just be making it up, we don't know.

You have experience do you?
so I suppose Unsworth is compiling the report then? Get real Morgan will be involved with player recruitment at the moment along with the directors until a new manager is in place

I'm sure you guys think football is exactly like "Football Manager". Just to let you know, it really isn't.

You're not the only one with experience. Just to let you know Junior football doesn't count.
Each manager has players he will target. scouts tend to scout the players hence the name. maybe the odd time the manager and the assistant will go and watch players as well especially pre season. the assistant tends run the training programmes along with the manager and his coaching staff.

And when there is no manager as we were talking about? Then the Assistant or "Caretaker" picks his targets then the board determines whether the players are reasonable, and swap and change. This is then given to the manager when one is picked and chooses targets from it and adds his own. Plus, you seem to think that the manager has the final say in what players should be bought. Where as in real life when there is a manager in the job, he creates a shortlist before wages and transfer budgets are set, which he then sends to the board and they need to determine how much cash will be available for each, and if a player cannot be afforded the board change it to someone they can. Now, I feel as though you have never had experience in any side of the game, I have, for almost 20 years. Thank you, please pick your fights better next time. Much love. x

I think you've been watching too many Barcelona documentaries unless your "experience" is at Camp Nou?
My dad was an agent for 20 years and had lots of experience with boards and managers and you are only talking about a quarter of the clubs!

I have experience at many British and foreign clubs. I have worked as a coach for Hull, Sheffield Wednesday, Brighton, St Etienne, NY Red Bulls, West Ham, and a minor role at Arsenal. I think I do know how the game works.
Secondly agents don't get to know the inner workings of clubs, they aren't allowed in boardroom meetings unless it is about the player in question, that they are they agent of. Much love. X

United and Wednesday do not do transfer business with one another. Bromby, Geary and Quinn were free transfer, no money swapped between clubs.

United fans get on at the board and the club for constantly selling and as soon asa thinks start to go badly everybody says we need to sell sell sell. Have one opinion and stick to it.
