anyone know what's the latest on billy sharp

Unbelievable2
Wednesday, Barnsley and Doncaster are in for him. Unlikely to come to us as S'hoton want 100% wages paying.
Agree7
Disagree4
Not sure if you've noticed, but we've recently been taken over by a bloke with a lot of cash! We can not only compete with wages with the clubs you mention but better it even with ffp restrictions. His wages will have to be paid up in one lump as a signing fee to get round the loophole of restricted wages.
Agree5
Disagree3
If you ask me he’s not worth 20k a week in wages and I’m a Blade.
Agree9
Disagree5
Don't see any big name players coming in yet.
Agree4
Disagree4
He's in talks with Wednesday.
Agree1
Disagree4
Don't need big name players, just a good striker, no-one 'so called' big. People need to be patient!
Agree1
Disagree0
But with all this 'Liverpool' standard money we should be buying big, surely.
Agree0
Disagree0
Like it or not, we're League 1. More money will be spent the higher up the leagues we go. We can't spend stupid money, we have to be sensible about it, buy the right players, not the named players.

this only a rumour rumour, but after game sat, blades tried to talk to steve evans but wer told no, from some1 in players and guests bar, any1 else ear anything?

Blades: you did not want Danny Wilson as a manager now you face the consequences with his alternatives. He was good but you were too slow to recognise it, now search for somebody like him!
Agree5
Disagree10
Hmmm - a search for someone else, like Danny Wilson, that we DON'T want as manager. Interesting. How's about two former Owls that were both player and manager for them - Paul Sturrock and Paull Jewell? Both have the advantage of being former strikers, so they may have more of a chance of getting us goals! Also solve any overcrowding at the turnstiles!
Agree2
Disagree5
Who is this clown. Does he realise what a bad manager Danny Wilson was. With the budget's he had e should have been promoted 12 mnths ago. Due to Wilson & his poor tactics we are still stuck in this god forsaken division. The reason we have a manager as bad as weir is because Wilson didn't do what he was paid to do
Agree3
Disagree11
We haven't got a bad manager for gods sake! It's his first managerial job! Give him time, let him settle in and stop being judgemental, over-critical persons. Sometimes our fans disgust me.
Agree12
Disagree1
Dont want steve evans thanks would rather have anyone but him
Agree8
Disagree4
Davie weir will be our manager for a long time he will become a legend we have got to stay with him at this transitional time
Agree8
Disagree0
We have "Liverpool" money, now we need a "Liverpool" approach to management. We need to do as they've done and keep faith with David Weir. The guy is clearly capable, remember, he's new not only to the job but the club! There are undoubtedly things he wants to change that will take more than one transfer window. UTB! KEEP THE FAITH!

Liverpool money. Oh my word, what planet?

Many clubs have noted that our reserve title-winning youngsters are not featuring in match-day squads, and are in for them on loan. Expect Ironside, McFadzean, Kennedy and Whitehouse loans to be agreed shortly. I would have liked them to be given more chances here, but they are clearly not rated by Weir who's brought others in instead, so it's probably best that they get a chance elsewhere.
Believable2
Unbelievable5
Mcfadzean has started a number of games this season, although I agree with whitehouse and Kennedy would love to see more first team action for these two but they need to go out on loan, Ironside does get game time however a loan spell should give him more confidence and hopefully a goal or two
Agree3
Disagree0
Expect the lads to get very little or no 1st team game time now. If its all out push for promotion it will be loans taking the first team places, lads time limited, hope we don't ignore our excellent system by concentrating everything on first team loan mercenaries
Agree5

Kennedy is injured
Agree0
Disagree1
Kennedy and Whitehouse are not good enough
Agree2

. and Ironside certainly isn't. Get Clarke and Wilson and we'll win the League!

Could be a busy couple of days deal almost agreed for Wilson loan with a view to permanent transfer and 2 other loans in the pipeline will try and get names
Believable6
Unbelievable3
Hope this is true, but would Cov release him on loan when they have previously turned down a purchase?
Agree2
Disagree3
If the loan fee is big enough Coventry will agree and especially if one or two of the youngsters go other way to boost their numbers
Agree1
Disagree2
I don't think they did reject a purchase offer for Wilson, I heard that they wanted £1. 2M for him which obviously was previously out of reach. I can't see Cov not going for the promise of this much cash next year (Jan) if this is true.
Agree2
Disagree2
Because we've agreed the price they want also we are paying a substantial loan fee
Agree1
Disagree1
Fair do's, sounds promising. Like I said, hope it happens. With Miller back soon as well, things should improve.
Agree2
Disagree1
Things WILL improve! Keep the faith people! We're a couple of players away from it clicking. Early days, disappointing but nevertheless I think we have the man for the job and the majority of players to get us out! UTB! KEEP THE FAITH!
Agree5
Disagree1
£1. 2M my ar**e.
That could go towards a new stadium.
Agree7
Disagree7
Why would you want a new stadium what's wrong with bdtbl get a grip we be long at the lane
Agree8
Disagree2
BDTBL is terrible, plus it's doesn't hold enough for the premiership, which we will be in during the next 3 seasons.
Agree1
Disagree8
Baring in mind half the prem clubs have less seats then united
Agree5
Disagree1
Not big enough for prem? tell that to Fulham, Stoke, Norwich, West Brom, Hull, Swansea, crytal palace, whose stadiums are all smaller capacities. {Ed003's Note - be a far better opinion if you registered your name}
Agree3
Disagree1
It's quite ironic that Prince Abdullah has said he wants to respect tradition and yet our own fans want to throw it out the window. Bramall Lane is our home. Personally I never want us to move. We can upgrade it, increase the capacity, etc. but not completely move out. The very thought is just personic!
Agree4
Disagree0
How is BDTBL Too small for pl when clubs like Fulham, Swansea, So'ton, Palace and Norwich all have smaller stadiums that us
Agree1
Disagree1
But those teams have nice stadiums, ours looks like its going to collapse any minute.
Agree1
Disagree6
Are you having a laugh I guessing you have never been to a game before then bramall lane is mint nothing wrong with it and we should only have 17 or 18 thousand fans going when we back in prem the ones who are here now going through the bad times week in week out
