Evening all! I posted on 04 September 2014 to let you all aware of Ched Evans situation upon release from prison. I stated that Ched would be signed upon his release and loaned to Oldham Athletic for 6 months. This was the plan and always has been, until the massive unrest between sponsors and club patrons. The club never expected the reaction that it caused when allowing Ched to train at the club. The idea was to get him match fit and loan him out straight away to take the 'sting' out of the decision. As I'm sure most of you have seen on the news and in the papers, Ched is 99. 9% going to sign a contract with Oldham. Whether they receive the same reaction as us is yet to be seen, but I feel I had to write this as I came on in September and people didn't believe me.

Sorry Jamie, Oldham and Tranmere have refused to offer him employment.
